Best of First Strokes Exhibition

“Kids are kids no matter what” or popularity in the vernacular “bata kasi or eh kasi bata.”

Words that are confronting in every sense of the words. The first smile, the first syllable uttered by a child, the first step and of course the first stroke which is practically scribble, scribble meant a lot to the significant others specially the parents of the child.

Scribbles turned to artworks. The child’s work of art gives him a sense of confidence which is a product of his own and takes him into his world of fantasy, dreams and aspirations.

It makes them feel good and satisfies. Self-concept is boost which also brings the things unsaid reflect in their art work. They draw and paint feelings that can’t be verbalized which eventually makes them feel better and confident enough to face stressful situations and cope with it.

As educators, our tasks is to help the child bridge the gap between the mind and the heart. The mind being the seat of emotional breakdown.

Help us do the tasks by growing with your children and enjoying their first strokes and recognizing, acknowledging the “Best of their First Strokes”.

“Let the children’s laughter and strokes remind us how we used to be”.
