The city is in a state of siege.

Is this a turning point for better or worse? Good thing there was no bullet ricocheted on our ceiling. I can't imagine evacuees were 100k plus at the grandstand. Before when we are still graders and high schools dad often bring us to grandstand. We jog, swim and just even take the morning breeze at the nearby boulevard. But now the place turned out to be a public land of cohabitants of informal settlers.

When the siege took placed..

It was really an adventurous experience. Since day 1 we kept our ear on tv and radio news. On that week we have a schedule to fly to manila to attend hub physician oath taking at the PICC. It was my first time to embarked a c130 military plane. Not in my wildest dream to board that plane. The feeling is affrighted. I'm clueless about how is it boarding an army plane. We waited almost 18 hours to be able to take the flight. But anyway thanks to Ahya- my brother for the manifest. The plane will be via cebu to manila and left  zamboanga around 12 midnight. When we touched down cebu I wish to transfer to commercial airline instead (cebu pacific- airline we booked earlier). But hub assured there is nothing wrong about the plane and the plane is safe and secure and its about an hour to manila. Finally, arrived safely manila at dawn to be exact at 3:48 AM. It was really tiresome after the long trip.

Return trip to w'zone...

There was no flight coming in to the city due to force majuere. S0 we decided to take Pagadian route instead. When we left Manila it was a stormy day. Praying the rosary is the only thing i hold on. I sounds like mother goose here- my mom.

On the 25th day, crisis was put to an end. Many lives were taken. Many left unhomed. Outbreak of diseases affects many individuals. Its about time to get into civic action, to take part of the rehabilitation initiatives. This is a one big fight for Zamboangueños. He will build Zamboanga again and its people will rise to glory.
